Meteor Shower

Derick, Brock, Mckya and I (Kyton was asleep, Kayda was at a friend's house at a sleepover) went outside at midnight saturday night to watch the meteor shower. We also were able to make a pretty good guess at where Dakota's star is based on the coordinates that we were given! It was so fun. We grabbed blankets and went out to the front yard and laid down. We could not go into the back yard because Bruno got sprayed by a skunk and it stunk back there. Poor dog. Mckya was able to actually see and point out the shooting stars for us! I was a little chilly so we got to snuggle together. It was so nice to lay out in the cool night air and star gaze. We did see quite a few shooting stars too!

Last football game of 2012!

Today was the last football game of the 2012 season! Can you tell I was so excited!! NO MORE EVERY NIGHT PRACTICES!!!!!!! So Friday night Brock, Kayda and I stayed up late to finish the banner the boys would run through. We had an arch of balloons and we also put ballon inside the banner. So when the boys ran though it the balloons would pop out!

Brock is modeling the sign for you!

Here are my cheerleaders holding the sign! So the boys ran through it but they did not break the sign so off course the picked it up and tore it any way. 2 hours of work for 15 seconds of fun. Man things you do for your kids!

Kyton just loves his big brother Brock!

Kayda actually cheered the whole game!!!! Of course the last game. But she did great!

The other team (Bagdad Razorbacks) did a kick off, well Brock caught it and ran a 70 yard touch down!!!!!!!! THIS WAS ONE VERY PROUD MAMA!!! And dad of course actually lost his voice after the game from all the yelling. We did not win but we lost by only one point 19 to 20. This was one of the number one teams and the stomped us last time we played them. So it was a VERY GOOD GAME to watch. The boys did an amazing job! THANKS FOR A GREAT SEASON BOYS AND GIRLS. (I do not think I am going to coach cheer again. having 7, 5 to 7 year old girls and trying to get them to cheer for an hour and half long game is not a fun thing to do!)

Fall festival 2012!

Friday night after boxing we took the kids out to the fall festival at Jack Pot Ranch! There was a small carnival with rides, a pumpkin patch, hay rides, beer garden, petting zoo, and more. Here are some pictures that I tried to remember to take!

Mckya on a ride! What a big girl!

Mom and the girls on the Roller coaster! Brock and mom rode the zipper Brock screamed the whole time like a little girl! I could not stop laughing at him! He had his hands glued to the bars. It was so funny!! I kept making the little cage we were in spin Brock would freak out! Oh boy fun times!!

Dad and Kayda rode the bumper cars! Kayda loved being able to drive!

Of course we had to go to the pumpkin patch! We went late so we got to search for a pumpkin in the dark with our cell phones as flash lights! It was funnier to do it that way instead! The girls ran around saying "look at how cute this on is" So we ended up with a small pumpkin. Kyton would walk around sit down on a pumpkin then walk to another one and sit on it! What a fun little kid he is!

Brock carried the pumpkin is his sweat shirt back to the car for us!

Dear dear child...

So Mckya got locked down in Brock's room an hour later I noticed she was not in her room. So I went looking for her and found her in Brock's room. Well since she was locked down there because she can not reach the door she got creative and put balls in her pants.

Needless to say she weighed a whole 5 pounds more! Just look at all the balls she had stuck up her pants...

NEVER a dull moment in our house! And Mckya's says... "I such a silly billy that I had to put the balls in my pants!"

Boys will be boys

Brock won his football game on Saturday so he had some friends spend the night. Well Sunday morning boys being the boys they are started to launch themselves off of the treadmill.

Well Brock got his finger caught in the end of the treadmill...

So you guessed it off to the ER we went.. His friend Eli by his side the whole time.

Xrays were done. Because he is young his hand is still full of growth plates they were not able to tell if his hand was broken or not. So the Doctor treated it as it was broken. We will do xrays in a week to follow up! Oh fun times....

Mckya Lynn's Stories

Dear sweet Mckya and your stories. These last few days you have told me some crazy stories, so I thought I would take a few minutes from our crazy busy life and write them down.

The first one is about a dream that you had..."we are at our house and a volcano exploded and hot lava came all over the house. It got inside my head and I had to squeeze it out. It popped like a big pimp and hot lava came out my nose. Then these handsome firefighters  had to come and put the fire out. Then the hot lava went down into Brock's room and I saved him."

Another story happened after Kyton got stitches. You wanted a stuffed bear just like Kyton got and I told you that you only got those bears if you got stitches. You then told me that when you were a baby you had stitches on your leg and you broke your leg. I told you that I did not remember you ever having a cast on your leg. You said that you got a purple one put on and then got in the shower and it washed off. It was a miracle. Just to set the record straight you never had stitches or a broken leg but in your beautiful mind you had them and a purple cast that all washed off in the shower. And it was all a miracle!

These are just two of the stories that you have told me and I am going to do my best to keep a better record of all your stories that you tell me! I love you dear child and I want you to know that your imagination is a wonderful thing. I hope you never lose this!

Stitches....

Kyton fell down at grandpa's house and hit the coffee table. He put his tooth through his lower lip. So off to the ER we went. The ER doctor named Jason told us that because he cut from his lip down it would need stitches so mom (me) numbed it up and we put him in a papuose and the dr stitched away! He did so good no crying and smiles the whole time.

Kyton and dad waiting for the numbing meds to kick in!

In the papouse!

What a brave boy!

Still all smiles!

Twins?!

Mckya and our cousin Katrina's daughter Hailey are twins! Look at these girls! And they were both 5 weeks early and were shipped to Flagstaff when they were born!

New hair cut!

Brock got his hair cut and we put his football number on the back of his head! So what do you think?
