Congrats NickiI!!!!!

Here is my tribute to my sister Natisha for graduating high school. Nicki short for Natisha, she was born January 24, 1990. She is the youngest of 3 beautiful girls. Nicki is the tallest (5' 10") and the only one one with blonde hair and blue\green eyes. She has one of the personalities where everyone LOVES her. She became student body president her junior year of high school and was again her senior year. She has been Prom queen for 2 years and winter dance (like homecoming..) princess 2 and and queen once. Nicki could wear a paper bag on her head to school and everyone would do it the next day. She is miss fashion. As a little girl she would tell my dad how to dress for church and his everyday attire.
Nicki was born at the Cottonwood hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

One year old January 1991

Nicki has her lifeguard cert. and has learned how to surf.

Nicki at Easter 4 years old 1994

Nicki has always loved to have her picture taken. This is her and our cousin Tyler. Nicki at age 4 won the cutiest baby contast at wal-mart and had her picture in every Wal-mart.

This year as one of her goals she became a certified scuba diver!!! GO NICKI!! Here she is with our cousin Sean in Mexico. Sean is the same age........ Yeah he is tall I only make it to his belly button....

When Nicki was 16 years old she became a model for Dillards, Pets Mart, a runway modle, and Quest phone company! She was paid for it and everything! She then had to quit because her "boobs" became to big and she was "too heavy". Nicki is 5' 10' and 125lbs.... so yeah........ don't know where they got there "too heavy". She is good about it. She loved having the fun of being famous!
Here she is at Larae Caverns in Virgina.

One of Nicki's passions is the government. She can tell you the Constitution all the amendments, the Declaration of Independence. When we were in Washington DC we went to the White House and there was a man out front protesting the war going on and the government, So Nicki went to the police offers standing out front the white house and started talking to them about it. Because she knew her Constitution so well the cops asked the guy to move and told him he was not allowed back! (the guy was slandering...... and other stuff Nicki tried to explain to me but it went in one ear and out the other,.....) So I am so proud to call her my sister! One day we all will have to vote for her to be president! CONGRATS NICKI I LOVE YOU AND AM SO PLEASED TO HAVE YOU AS MY SISTER!

God's plan will always be a mystery..........

Tonight at work there was a 2 year old baby that passed away. The child was sick the mother took him in and got some medicine. They think he had an allergic reaction to it. We had to code him in the ER. I need to write about it to help me cope. I was called into work tonight and I wonder why. Me losing a child myself know how hard it is to say good bye to your baby. But having the Gospel helped me. Watching this mother tonight having to say good bye to her baby was beyond words. What do you say, what do you do? I have been there yet I felt helpless. It does pull at your heart strings. It makes you wonder about the plan of our Father. This child, this little boy is now home. No more pain, no more sadness. But why? I would like an answer but I know I will have to wait till I can ask Him myself. More then often I have hit my knees in tears asking this question of "why?" Why was I called in tonight? Why this child with loving parents and a good home? Why so young? How far will I be pushed before I break? I know you may not have an answer but it helps to write about it. One day when I am older and wiser I may know, but till then I will continue to hit my knees in pray.

Nicki and her best friend Adrianne M. Adrianne was valedictorian! Yeah Adrianne!!

PANCAKES!!!

I just have to brag about my new brother-in-law!!! He came over Thursday night and made dinner for us. He made pancakes. They were the best pancakes I have ever had!! I don't know if I am allowed to tell but....... well............. ok, he mixed a cup of yogurt in the badder. These pancakes were moist, fluffy, and very filling. You can add any flavor of yogurt.. blueberry, strawberry..... The good thing is by adding the yogurt it made the badder go farther and it was healthier for you too! Brock now asks every morning if uncle Robert is going to come over and make his "special pancakes." These were so good that Brock ate 2 whole pancakes!!!! THANK YOU ROBERT!!!

The wonderful surprises..........

Wednesday (May 21) Before play group I woke up to this...................

Brock had woke up early and wanted breakfast. Well being the smart boy that he is, he went to the fridge and "cook me a salad." I woke up to Brock eating a bowl of salad on the couch at 8 in the morning. He had got the lettuce and Ranch dressing out all by himself and made a salad!!

After playgroup I decided to clean out the car! (WOW it gets dirty fast!) The kids were playing in the front yard while I worked. Brock was wedding the garden. I am truly blessed because it is his favorite thing to do. Granda taught him which ones were weeds and he LOVES to pull them. And he gets mad if he does not get the "white stuff" (roots). I just hope this love of oulling weeds stays with him till he is grown.... So as I am cleaning and Brock is weeding Kayda decides she wants to ride big brother's bike. I did not get the picture in time but she had somehow climbed up on his bike! Well we noe knoe what to get her for Christmas...

Boys and Bugs!

Brock has always been a very caring boy. So for playgroup on Wed. (may 21) we had a "bug hunt" Brock did not find any bugs till we got home. He found 3 lady bugs in our garden. After putting them very carefully in their new home, he then had to get them food. So he goes to our fridge and opens the door......

Yes the lady bugs were fed very good. Each one got her own carrot!

Shopping

Tuesday(May 20) we went shopping to get supplies for Nicki's board for graudation. And Uncle Robert was put in charge of kid duty....

Kayda has to help mom pick out the stickers, while Robert went running after Brock.

Now hiding from uncle Robert and giving him a good scare. Oh what fun Robert had!

Robert finally gave in and got ice cream for the kids.... They stayed put after that!! Thank you Robert for your hard work! It was nice to shop!

Weekend

Friday was a good day. Jess taught Gymnastics and Brock got to go to more then one class because mom had to stay and teach more. Grandpa Coco ( Derick's dad... named coco because he has a dig named coco) got to take Kayda all night! Then home to get the boys ready to go. Derick, Brock and my dad went camping. Picture below is the only picture I got back ... it is Brock roasting marshmallows by the fire. I had to work again at the hospital. I only had to work till 3 am so got to come home early to an empty house. I did not realize how much I miss sleeping with my kids and hubby... But I did get sleep. Saturday I had to teach gymnastics and then wait for my Sister Shantell and her new hubby to get into town. Shantell had her gifts sent to my house. So we have had boxes all over our little house all week long. Well after gymnastics I came home and got some well needed sleep. Grandpa Coco still had the Kayda and the boys were gone. I fell asleep hard because at about 2 my sister came intomy room and woke me up. Her and Robert had been at my house since noon opening presents! I slept through it all! Derick was home then and he had dropped Brock off at grandpa's house so we had the afternoon to ourselfs. So the four of us went and got the boy's (derick and robert) hair cut. Then we went and got the half price drinks at sonic! That night we met our kids at my dad's house for Shantell's party. Then off to work for Jessica. Sunday the kids and Derick went to church. ( I can not wait till I quit so I can go back to church I miss it so much) .For family night we went over to my dad's and had a lesson on families then Jess had to go to work :( Derick and the kids stayed and played. Shantell, Robert, Derick and Janel played monopoly. And again Derick won. I do not know how he does it because you think you have him and he pulls money out of nowhere! Nicki was good and finished her school work. Janel's girls had to go to bed. My dad and Brock played up stairs with blocks! Thank you dad for sending me pictures! I can't wait till I quit work so I can be there for things like this.

This last picture Brock built these blocks up ALL BY HIMSELF!!! Wow! Good Job Buddy!

More Pictures

Here are some more Pictures from the Wedding.
Kids......
The only one left not married! Nicki. She still has time.... But we have someone in mind already!
The ring cermony. It was at this old bed and breakfast. It matched with her wedding style just perfect!
Yes Shantell made me wear these 3 inch HEALS!!! I think she was trying to get back at me for making her wear heals at my wedding.
Daddy, daughter dance.

Pictures

Shantell's cermony was done on a different day because Robert's family is not LDS and wanted to be apart of the wedding. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Her colors were blue and peach. Our bride maid's dresses matched her wedding dress.
This is the cutest ring boy around.
And then comes Kayda who of course found the water!! We were so lucky because she KEPT that head dress on the whole wedding!!!
The 3 beautiful sisters! Shantell could not decide who was the maid of honor so we both got to be!

Skipping!!
