HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYDA MAE!!

2 Years ago at 6:28 pm Kayda Mae was born! She came 5 weeks early and spent 5 days in the NICU at Flagstaff Medical Center. Kayda is small for her age. But that does not slow her down. She is a spit fire. She has us always on our toes! She loves her big Brother Brock very much. And is always asking to hold her new little sister Mckya. Kayda came at the perfect time for mom and dad. We just lost Dakota and was very scared of losing her too. But she fought hard and is with us today! We love her so much and thank our Heavenly Father every day for her. We do not know what our lives would be like without her. WE LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!!

Loves to be outside, in any weather. It is hard to keep her in.

Bath time again. Kayda is a water baby. She loves to go swimmming. She can hold her breathe and loves to be underwater.

Book surfing. She has to do everything that Brock does.

Again doing what they do best!

Kayda's Farvite food is Pizza and bananas. She loves any kind of Juice. Tinker Bell is her favorite. We Love you Kayda!

Dakota

We are blessed because we have an Angel watching over us. Her name is Dakota Ann. Dakota would be 9 this year. She died at 32 hrs 21 mins. old. She was truly perfect. Dakota had trisomy 18. With this she was not to be born. But she was able to be carried full term and was here with us for 2 days. These were the best 2 days of our lives. Brock was young only 20 months but he remembers her. He will still talk about her. And it always seems to be at the right time. We love and miss her greatly.

Kids Say the cutest things!!

Grandpa Lee to Kyton..." Don't push me I will fall over!" Mckya says..."Then I will push your life alert button for you grandpa" .. Ok at least we know she will save him!
Mckya "Mom if I don't wear lip stick how will the boys notice me?"... yes she is only 3 years old. And she is already thinking this. We are in trouble!
Mycka was watching me as I was taking my medicine. It is zoloft she asked me what it is for I told her that it makes me a happy mommy and not a mean mommy. She than says "oh so you are going to take 2 right?"..... oh sweet dear Mckya
Mckya "mom I want brown hair instead of my blonde hair." Mom "Why Kya?" "because I am tired of everyone saying I am so cute!"
Kayda--"Brock is a pretty princess" without skipping a beat Brock replies "Kayda is an ugly dwarf"
Kayda says to me when we have a friend spending the night "mom, Jaylynn can't reach the sink to brush her teeth, so can she brush them in the toilet?"
Kayda " Mom your stretch marks are beautiful. I cant wait till I can have some." Oh Kayda that just warms my heart!
Mckya..."some day when I am bigger I will have big boobies.."
Kayda says "its going to be weird turning 5 so I will just turn 6 so it won't be weird.".... Ok child
Watching the movie New Moon and Jacob took his shirt off Kayda says "Wow mom, that is nice"
Mckya fell and said "mom I dropped myself"
Derick chipped his tooth, and Kayda informed him that if he saves the piece he can get money from the Tooth Fairy
"Ink, is made out of bird poop and spit" Brock
"Mom, did you know that we wipe our butts with Mother Nature?" Brock
"mom I want my new nick name to be Brock the Cock"..... Um I think not
Brock "if you fart while runing you will go faster"
Kayda " Hi I'm Kayda, I bad."
Brock to Derick "If you were a little kid you would just trust me and obey me."
After finding out that Kyson is now Mckya Brock" AHH! Not another girl power. Dose this mean I have to start wearing dresses?"
Brock saying dinner pray..."and bless we will listen to lies and not tell lies, Bless our food that it may punish us and make us strong..." Derick and I had to open our eyes and look at each other to stop from laughing. When he said "punish us" he ment replinsh us.
"Mom I am the best puppy babysitter in the world uh?!"
"Mommy when you turn my age you can jump as big as me!"
"Aunt Shanny will you buy Kayda from me for 20 bucks so I can get my brake bike?"
"Mom the tree pooped in my hair!" Brock had gotten sap all over his hair it took 2 hrs to get it all out!
"Mommy.... (Brock while holding Kayda)... Can we keep Kayda? Jesus already has Dakota and I want Kayda."
"MOM!!! The muscles in my belly are talking!" Brock's tummy was growling.
