Fairy gardens!

The girls and I set out and made out own fairy garden! All from scratch supplies we found around the house and yard!

Pedicures with mom!

I had this boy come with me and get his first pedicure!  Needless to say he loved it!  Now he wants to go back and try all the different kinds they have,  hot stone,  chocolate scrub,  warm wax.... I might have created a monster.

Disc golf with the kids

Saturday they had a disc golf class for kids.  They all got one on one coaching and even got to meet the junior world champion! After the class,  Brock and Derick played in a tournament and Brock won 2nd place!

Kayda finished her season being named "best stealer"!  Good job Kayda we are all so proud of you!

Saturday full of spring sports!

Saturday day or rest?? Nope! 830 am basketball game X2! Then basketball award / pizza party. Then off to softball baseball tryouts! Mckya and Kyton are going to play Tball Kayda tried out to be in the minor softball team and Brock is back on the major tiger team! More busy weeks to come!

Half day of school + friends

Friday was a half day of school and we decided to jump on the free time! So we meet up with our friends at the rec center played some basketball and went swimming! ( the girl in pink next to Brock has the biggest crush on him)

Take a break and reevaluate

After a day at work when a co worker turns on you, you need a break. Not just a quick 30 min eat on the run lunch break, but a real break. So I called off sick for the next 2 days and took this time to reevaluate my life. Do I want to go back to school, what do I want to go back for. What life changes can I make to be a stay at home mom. Can we truly afford this. Is it better for the kids if I work or stay home....  During this time we had a surprise trip to the city pool!

Kyton asked for a slice of cheese so... We let him cut his own....

Girls day out!

So the girls and I after basketball games went out to lunch! Pizza hut with out own personal pan pizzas why not?

Our waiter TJ was awesome. He totally flirted with Kayda and this girl walked away with 2 FREE personal pan pizzas, tons of coupons and heck even a job offer! He called her Sweetheart the whole time and she was so giggly and fun. Even during a super busy day stop and enjoy these moments because they will be gone so fast!

Saturdays are full of fun!

Basketball games!!! Mckya and Kayda both have games every Saturday until almost March!

What do you do when 6 of your friends and you share birthday months?? Well you have one giant party!!!

Kayda's basketball team was able to play a short game during the half time of the varsity boys game! Kayda played against her 2 best friends and LOVED it!!! We forgot her jersey so she is in the heat shirt.

He said I had weird food cravings

So as most of you know, women get weird food cravings while pregnant. I loved the candy got tamales... Not crazy there... A nurse I work with craved chalk, she ate it like candy, one woman are dog food, one ate dirt, .... But Derick is not pregnant and he is eating this.... Chocolate ice cream and cheese Doritos....

Teach him to make his future dates dinner instead of taking them out! Roast veggies, sour cream & onion chicken. It was good buddy!

Physcial therapy

We had Brock's first physical therapy today. Our therapist suggested we go get a second opinion, I agree with him. I have always thought there was more damage to Brock's knee then what we were told. So I get to find another doctor most likely in flagstaff! Oh boy!!

And to top off the stress I get a notice in the mail that Brock failed his hearing test. So off to the school for deaf and blind in Phoenix so that we can have more testing done and possible corrections of some sort...

Then here in Feb March we get to do the whole round of Brock's heart and kidney doctors. Fun fun!

It's a win win or a lose lose......

Kyton is such a die hard x box player. It is nice for when I am busy doing house work, wanting to grab a quick nap after having to work a night shift, or just to get him out of my hair. To be honest he has learned a lot from it. I mean my 4 year old is already doing simple math ( like " mom I want to be 6 years old, and then that means Mckya will be 8 and Kayda will be 10, he did all this in his head with out skipping a beat) and he can read small words.

But the lose lose part of this is... All he thinks about is x box, when can he play next, throws fits when it is time to get off.  What must this mother do??? Yes I do a time restriction, and he can only play after his chores ( getting dress, eating, brush teeth, etc) are done. Yes he is punished and not allowed to play. And this is the best punishment for him.

So see is it my win win or my lose lose 28th him???

Snow day

We went up to stoneman lake road and had plans to visit a cabin with friends. Well the snow was to deep so we ended up pulling over and let the kids play in the snow. There is this girl named Maci who has the biggest crush on Brock she followed him everywhere. And believe it or not Kyton had a ton of fun in the snow!
