Our wekend

Our weekend started out friday night when Jessica thought she was superwoman. Jessica works nights at the hospital and normally it is weekends strating Saturday. Well we are going on vaction so she mixed up her schedule. She worked Wed, Thurs, Friday nights 7pm to 7am. Thursady she goes to work gets off friday morning at 7:30 then goes to coach gymnastics friday at 9 till 11:45. Then kids off to grandpa's and mom home for a short nap. Back to work that night gets off Saturday morning at 7:30 then back to gymnastics at 9 to 11:45. Then out to camp verde to pick up kids from grandpa's. Then instead of trying to take a nap we go to a family outting with friends. Which I may add was way FUN!!!

Thanks Kelly is was great! Forth picture Kayda and one set of the twins. These girls are about 2 weeks older then her! And last but not least Kayda just haning out in the grass.


On with our crazy weekend. Jessica now running on about 4 hrs sleep and now over 24 hrs straight of being awake goes home. And again thinking she was wonderwoman cleans while waiting for Derick to finsih a job and get home. Finally at about 10:30 that night Jessica hits the pillow. Sunday comes way to early. But it is also Kayda's FRIST birthday!!!!! We have pizza and a small family party. Jessica finally now reliazes she is not super or wonderwoman forget to take pictures.... So thankfull Derick wipes out his phone and grabs a few shots.

Kayda was so tired. But would not miss the chance to eat that cupcake! Thankfully mom was thinking and stripped Kayda so we had less clothes to clean! Then on the the bath wich is the funnest part of our day. Kayda got a really cool gift from one of the nurses mom works with. It is an ocutpus that goes on the tub facuet and changes the water different colors!

Then to BED!!!!! This is mom's favorite part of the day! Monday the week starts all over again. Jessica packing and going to work.. But the good news is Wed. when she gets off at 7:30 am we leave for a 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully with all the family around Jessica can catch up on her sleep.

JURY DUTY!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

So when I got the mail today I saw a werid letter. Opened and found out I was summond for Jury duty. THAT SUCKS! I hope that I can explan to them that I have small children and two jobs. I hope that some mircale will help me get out of it. I am going to pray hard that I do not have to go through with it. Did you know that if you fail to respond and do as directed you can spend up to 3 days in jail and fined $100.00!! I am mad because you only get $40.00 a day and you can be stuck in jury duty for up to 2 months! That is crazy and I am CRAZY MAD about it! Ok thank you for letting me vent.

New toys!

As a mom there are things that as a teenager I would have never thought twice about. For example we got a new stroller and I LOVE it. As a teen I would have never even stopped and looked at one, but now it is one of the things I look at, compare, and even test drive. We got a "Sit and Stand" stroller. The back seat comes off and your child can stand. It has a seat belt so when he gets tired he can sit, or you can put the seat back on and he can lay back and sleep! So when we got it home I opened the box put it together and went for a walk right away. And have gone for a walk every eveing. So in a way my new toy has become a good hobbie for us. Brock thinks he is to big to ride in a stroller, except for when "my legs need a break", then he climbs in and enjoys mom doing all the work. But that is why we got a double stroller. In the bottom picture you see Brock and Kayda holding hands and for the frist 10 minutes of our walk. They would not let go. It was one of the many cute things our kids do! So to end my story I am very happy to say that I love being a mom and looking at new things.

Shantell's bridal pictures

My sister Shantell is getting married May 2, 2008. Her and Robert Moses are going to be sealed in the Washington DC temple. They are currently going to Southern Vriginia Un. That is where they met. After the wedding they are going to move back here, where Robert will get a job as a guard at the jail and Shantell has no idea what she wants to do. (mabey I can get her to be my nanny for free???) wishful thinking... Anyway here are some of her bridal pictures.

Dakota's birthday

Sunday April 20th was Dakota's 2nd birthday. We went to chruch then to her grave. We didn't get her much but hope to someday get her a headstone. Then had a big steak dinner and a cake. We miss her so much. WE LOVE YOU BABY KOTAS!!!

Derick to the RESCUE!!!!

Friday afternoon we got a phone call from my little sister. She was in tears. Nicki is the student body presd. at AHA and it was their prom night. Anyway the DJ for prom called and said he was not able to make it. So DERICK CAME TO THE RESUCE!! Thankful that Derick is such a music-olic he was able to grab his hard drive and go to the dance 10 min before it started. Well he gets there and his hard drive crashes!!! So he calls a friend and grabs his I-pod and the dance turned out to be great! Well I don't want to be stuck at home by myself with the kids so I dress them up and we all go to Nicki's senior Prom!! What a fun family outting!!! To make the night go better Nicki won PROM QUEEN!! (for those of you who might not know this is Nicki's 5th crown! Yes number 5)

Brock's First Day of preschool!!

Today April 17 is Brock's first day of school!! he was so happy to finally go to school. We hav him in a little school out in camp verde. his class has about 5-6 kids all 3-4 years old. It is at our friends house. That she turned into a school. And of course mom (me) cried and Brock said "on mom don't worry I will come home when I am all done getting smart."

Shoe shopping with Anut Nicki

So we went shoe shopping with my sister Nicki. And for some weird reason Brock had to smell all the shoes Nicki tried on. Then of course he had to test them out himself to make sure they were "compfy for aunt nini" (quoted by Brock). Oh what a caring little boy he his. I think the whole smelling thing he got from his aunt Nicki too.... Stuff like this just makes having kids the best thing in my life. You never know when you will be laughing, or crying because of how cute and innocent they are. What a blessing our children are.

Monday morning Brock helped keep Kayda distracted so I could do her hair. And thanks to Alicia (Daci's hair) I could try something besides pig tails!!! Tomorrow I hope to try her whole head!!

So today my cell phone was not letting me send anymore text message, because my memory was too full. So I went to delete some videos to make more space. Well dumb me I deleted EVERY video on my phone!! I was so mad! Luckly the really important ones I have sent to my sisters so they can just send them back to me. So word of the wise be careful when deleting things from your phone!

The wonderful world of Night Shift!!

So I work nights at the hospital and one night it was CRAZY. We had most of our patients is isolation. Which means that we have to gown up like this to enter into the room. Which just makes life a lot harder! So I got so tired of "dressing up" just to go into the room to do something so little, so I decided to jazz it up a little, I had on of the other nurses I work with take pictures of all of us in our "evening gowns" and I posted them up in our staff lounge as the new dress code. Well everyone got a kick out of it that we put in an order for different color "gowns". Hopefully yellow will not be our only color.

So I went online and found M&M world. It a really cool place. You can make yourself an M&M!!!! so here is my family!I hope you all can guess who is who. If you ever have a free minute... you should try it. Once you find the place and figure out how to make them it is really fun!

Brock's stiches

Easter Sunday I was at work and I get this phone call from Derick. He tells me that Brock was "practicing gymnastics" and fell hard. He was at grandpa's with his cousins so it was about 11:00 at night. So Derick brought him in. We went down to the ER. Because I was working we got in and out in less then an hour. (I think it was cuz they wanted me to get back to work.) Brock got 2 stiches!!! He only need to have them in for a week. So when theweek was up we waited for him to fall asleep then Derick and I took them out. So he now has a scar, which thanks to the ER nurse he thinks is way cool.

OK...... I joined the group
